I grew up poor, but I was lucky enough to get a good education, make it to Harvard, and become a U.S. Senator. Every kid deserves that same fair shot.

That’s what I'm fighting for: a public school system that works no matter who you are or where you’re born.

We need to be for a pro-labor, pro-worker agenda. That starts with:

Increasing the federal minimum wage from a poverty wage to $20/hr.

Doubling the pay for overtime.

Requiring overtime pay on federal holidays.

Protecting workers' right to bargain for better pay, benefits, and safer workplaces.

Let's keep fighting.

Rural Arizonans deserve access to quality health care close to home.

Investing in residency programs helps bring more doctors to rural communities—and gives them a reason to stay.

We can afford a dumb war in Iran, but somehow we can’t afford healthcare for every American?

We should be expanding Medicaid and lowering healthcare costs—not taking coverage away from working families.
