Gallego, Homeland Security Democrats Demand DOJ Compliance on Release of Epstein Files
WASHINGTON – Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) and Democratic members of the Homeland Security and Governmental Security Committee have sent a follow-up letter to United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, demanding compliance with their request for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. This latest letter follows a July request from the Democratic senators, who formally invoked 5 USC § 2954. This authority requires any federal agency to provide documents or information requested by any five members of the Committee.
