WASHINGTON – Today, Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) introduced a resolution calling on the Department of Justice to release its files related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein to restore public trust, affirm institutional accountability, and prevent the politicization of justice.

“Donald Trump loves to brand himself as a warrior against the deep state. But let’s be honest: Trump has always taken care of his own. He owes an explanation to America, was he lying to America for the last 8 years or is he covering up for his rich elite friends?” said Senator Gallego. “The American people are done with the games, the lies, and two systems of justice—one for the elites, and another for everyone else. I urge my colleagues to join me in demanding the Justice Department release the Epstein files. The American people deserve the truth.”
